Building Educational Opportunities in Gujarat

Project: In 1999, Bavaji Charities identified Chaparda, a remote village in Gujarat, where children lacked access to education due to the absence of a school. Through dedicated fundraising efforts and community contributions, the organization built a fully functioning school in the village.

Outcome: Hundreds of children now have access to education locally, eliminating the need to travel long distances. The school has become a cornerstone for the community, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

Rebuilding Lives After the Kutch Earthquake

Project: Following the devastating 2001 earthquake in Kutch, Gujarat, Bavaji Charities partnered with local communities to construct a new school in Adhoi village and rebuild homes for families who had lost everything.

Outcome: Over 203 children gained access to education in the newly constructed school. More than 203 homes were rebuilt, offering families a fresh start and a sense of stability after the disaster.

Outcome: Entire communities were revitalized, with new homes and essential infrastructure built to replace what was lost. Hundreds of families were able to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
